Discovering Double Stars

Discovering Double Stars II is released! Extended to 950 doubles covering the whole sky, the format has been rethought to provide more information on each page and more detailed locator charts. Each double now lists available SAO and HIP catalog numbers, and every chart shows the best nearby Messier and Caldwell deep sky objects. Further pages have been added to aid in assessing local sky conditions and detailed views of some larger star clusters and their doubles.

The original Discovering Double Stars southern and northern hemisphere editions are still available for those looking for larger finder charts and a simpler format.
